For hosts
Tell someone what the job is actually like.
One hour, live, paired with a second person from your industry. You answer the five questions every session answers, then take questions from the room. No slides.
Two hosts. Never one.
Every session pairs two people from the same industry at different distances from the start. You would be one of them, and we find the other.
15+
years in
Industry Leader
Fifteen years or more. You answer where the career goes, what the work becomes, and what you can only see from where you are now.
2 to 4
years in
Career Insider
Two to four years in and doing well. You answer what the first years are actually like, while you still remember them accurately.
You know the questions in advance.
Every session runs the same shape, so you know exactly what you are agreeing to answer before you say yes.
- 01Who is in the roomBoth hosts, what they do this week, and what they were doing at your age.
- 02The money, stated plainlyGraduate salary, what it becomes by year three, what the APC costs you in time, and which parts of the sector pay differently.
- 03The first year, from three years agoWhat the job is on an ordinary Tuesday. The parts nobody mentions at a careers fair.
- 04How people actually get inRoutes that work, routes that waste a year, and what a placement is really worth.
- 05What to do nextThree specific next steps, chosen for where you actually are.
The last fifteen minutes are questions from the room. Attendees write them when they book, and they are read out without a name attached.
What you get
Hosts keep 80 percent of every seat sold.
ExpertLinc takes 20 percent. There is no fee to list, no exclusivity, and no minimum number of sessions. Seats are £25, and you keep £20 of each one.
What this is not.
- Not a job ad. You are not there to recruit, and we do not run vacancies.
- Not recruitment for your firm. Attendees are told plainly that a seat is not an introduction or a referral.
- Not advice you are liable for. Sessions are not financial, legal or regulated careers advice, and the terms say so.
- Not speaking for your employer. You speak personally, and every listing states that.
