When I finished college, I didn't have my entire career mapped out. I decided to take a year out before university to explore estate agency and see whether it was something I enjoyed. What started as a temporary decision turned into a career I am incredibly proud of.
I began by working in administration and providing cover across the business while learning to drive, which, admittedly, took me quite a few attempts! Once I finally passed, I moved straight into a Negotiator role, and that's where my journey in property really began.
After spending two years with an independent estate agency, I joined Stirling Ackroyd, where I continued to develop my skills, knowledge and confidence. Within my first year, I was promoted to Lettings Manager at the Chiswick office, taking on greater responsibility for valuations, supporting the branch manager and helping drive the business forward. After just over a year, I moved to the Ealing office, a £1.2 million branch, where I continued to work in an Assistant Manager capacity.
At the start of 2026, I knew I was ready to take the next step and wanted the opportunity to run my own office. I was privileged to be given the chance to take over the Hamptons office in Ealing, a milestone that represents how far I have come since taking that initial year out.
